Petite Cherie Photography is a Veteran and Woman owned business that specializes in fine-art portrait photography.

The skies you see? Sometimes enhanced.

The leaves falling? Sometimes added.

The colors? Intentionally curated.

The magic? Always created with purpose.

I don’t simply document moments — I transform them into art. If you’re looking for raw, straight-out-of-camera, minimally edited images, I may not be the best fit — and that’s completely okay. There are so many talented photographers who specialize in that natural documentary style.

But if you want rich tones, storytelling skies, romantic movement, and images that feel like paintings… you’re in the right place.

  • Petite Cherie Photography is located in Plaquemine, Louisiana but provides photography services to all of Acadiana, SWLA, and South Louisiana including Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Ville Platte, Lake Charles and more.

  • My schedule currently fills up around 6-8 weeks out so I recommend scheduling your session as soon as you know you want to book. Newborn sessions are booked in advance by due date month only and then scheduled once your baby is born before 2 weeks of age. Maternity photoshoots are typically done between 28-32 weeks of pregnancy.

  • Petite Cherie Photography provides all the props and accessories needed for your newborn session. I also provide styling and wardrobe advice for Family, Maternity, and Senior photography sessions.

  • While all photography packages currently include digital images with print rights, we do offer professional print products, canvases, and custom designed photo albums.
